Dear colleagues,
Conference Title: From Insight to Impact: The Future of Dementia Care in Malta
We are pleased to announce that the Dementia Care Directorate, together with Active Ageing and Community Care, will be hosting the National Dementia Care Conference on Friday 29th May 2026 at AX Odycy, St Paul’s Bay. This year’s theme, “Building tomorrow’s care on today’s evidence,” reflects our commitment to strengthening dementia care through research, innovation, and collaboration.
The Organising Committee is inviting researchers to express their interest in presenting their work. The conference will focus on showcasing local research, projects, and initiatives that contribute to improving dementia care, services, and policy in Malta. Submissions highlighting evidence-based practice, innovative approaches, or collaborative initiatives within the Maltese context are especially encouraged.
If you are interested in presenting, kindly send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: Expression of Interest – Dementia Care Conference 2026.
Your email should include:
• Your full name and organisation/affiliation
• A short summary (maximum 300 words) describing your research or project, including why it merits presentation at this conference
Deadline for submissions: 28th February 2026
Please note that the Scientific Committee may contact applicants to request additional information or to conduct an interview to ensure a thorough assessment of the proposed research. Selected researchers will be granted complimentary admission to the conference, covered by the Dementia Care Directorate. Applicants who are not selected — or those who withdraw from presenting but still wish to attend — will be required to pay the early bird registration fee.
Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,
The Conference Scientific Committee
