You are invited to participate in a research project entitled ‘Prescription for Change: Evaluating the Readiness for a National ePrescribing System in Malta’. This research is being conducted by Mhairi Quinan under the supervision of Mr Alexei Zammit in collaboration with Knights College and the University of Coventry.

I am conducting this research study as part of my MBA study, focusing on the feasibility of an electronic prescription (ePrescribing) system in Malta in alignment with Malta’s National Health Strategy 2020-2030. The aim is to understand the perceptions and readiness of medical doctors who would be directly involved in the adoption of this system. Your insights as a healthcare professional are essential.

Participation will involve completing a short survey which is expected to take approximately 10 minutes. Questions will focus on your experience with prescribing/dispensing and your views on migration to an electronic system. Your contribution will help to identify opportunities and challenges in introducing ePrescribing in Malta and will support evidence-based planning for future healthcare improvements. This is also an opportunity to ensure your perspective on prescribing practices is heard by decision-makers, policymakers and healthcare leaders in Malta.

Please note that your participation is voluntary and you can withdraw at any time without any explanation required. All responses will remain confidential and no identifiable information will be presented, however with your permission anonymous quotations may be included.
