President’s Corner

Dear Colleagues,

We are now at the peak of preparations to host the WONCA World conference in Lisbon this September. We are thrilled to update you that the scientific committee and the organizing committee are working hard, as we have received a record number of over 3,000 abstracts. This means a lot of work for the reviewers, a big challenge for the program builders, and high expectations for many participants. It’s time to thank my co-chairs in the Host Organising Committee (HOC), Nuno Jacinto and Nina Monteiro, as well as the co-chairs of the Scientific Committee Mehmet Ungan, João Sequeira Carlos, Radost Assenova and all committee members for their valuable contributions.

Keep following our activities, stay involved, and share the message with your colleagues.

Sincerely,

Prof. Shlomo Vinker
President of WONCA Europe
