The RCGP has just issued a call for expressions of interest to join its Fellowship Committee, where there are two roles. RCGP are looking for UK-qualified RCGP Fellows (FRCGP) currently living outside the UK and also for RCGP International Fellows (FRCGP[INT]) who have interest and availability to join the Committee to review applications for RCGP Fellowship.

The key eligibility requirements are:

• To be a UK-qualified RCGP Fellow (FRCGP) living outside the UK, or an overseas-qualified International Fellow (FRCGP[INT]) qualified via the MRCGP[INT] route and who then progressed to International Fellowship;
• To be In Good Standing with the RCGP (to be an active registered RCGP member who pays their member subscription to RCGP) and with the GMC or relevant regulatory authority in their country of residence.

The roles are voluntary and involve joining Committee meetings 3-4 times a year for about 1 hour or so and to review incoming Fellowship applications and make recommendations whether they should be supported.
