SAMOC is asking for contact details of family doctors to enter them into their software system, so that the referred patient is linked to the referring doctor and a pathway of two-way communication is set up.

Private family doctors who are members of both the Malta College of Family Doctors and of the Association of Private Family Doctors (APFD) and agree to this do not need to do anything – the APFD can send the required details from the membership database.  If you do not agree, send an email to [email protected] informing the APFD that you wish to opt-out.  Deadline 28th February 2026.

Private family doctors who are members of the Malta College of Family Doctors but not members of the Association of Private Family Doctors (APFD) and agree to this are to send an email to me on [email protected] with name, surname, medical council registration number, email address and mobile contact number informing that  you wish to opt-in.  Deadline 28th February 2026.

Public family doctors who are members of the Malta College of Family Doctor and agree to this are to send an email to me on [email protected] with name, surname, medical council registration number, email address and mobile contact number informing that  you wish to opt-in.  Deadline 28th February 2026.
