Colleague: I am Ruth Grech and together with a group of volunteers are going on a missionary expedition this February 2024, from 1st till 22nd, with the ‘Moviment Gesu fil-Proxxmu’, of the late director Dun George Grima. Our main aim is to sponsor a borehole in Bitawoshi, a village in the Jimma-Bonga region, to ensure clean and safe water which will be accessible to all the community. This is estimated to cost around 13,000 euro. We will also be doing renovations in a primary school in the village of Pugnido, in the region of Gambela, with an estimate of 11,000 euro. Together with another doctor, we will be doing medical work within the villages and we are planning on teaching basic first aid to individuals within the remote villages to help with minor injuries.
