Calling for General Practitioners!
Dear esteemed general practitioners,
I am Pamela Farrugia, a student at the Institute of Family Therapy Malta (IFT
MALTA), where I am pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychological Therapies. I would like
to introduce a unique research opportunity that aligns with my current focus on the mental
health of general practitioners, a subject I am researching.
Research Topic:
We are currently seeking dedicated General Practitioners (GPs) to participate in a
research study titled “Investigating the Impact of Medical Self on General Practitioner’s
Mental Health and their Insights on Psychotherapy.
Research Questions:
Our study aims to explore two critical aspects:
1️. How do GPs’ personal mental health experiences influence their overall well-being
and professional lives?
2️. What are GPs’ perspectives on the mental health challenges they may encounter and
their views on the role of psychotherapy in their mental health care?
Why Participate:
By participating in this research, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a
deeper understanding of the unique challenges General Practitioners face. Your invaluable
insights may help shape the future of mental health care within the medical profession.
Participation Details:
Participation in this study will involve confidential interviews scheduled at your
convenience. Rest assured, your privacy and anonymity will be carefully upheld throughout
the research process.
If you are a General Practitioner passionate about mental health and willing to share
your experiences, we invite you to join us in this research study! To express your interest or
request further information, please do not hesitate to contact us at
pamelafarrugia83@gmail.com or call 79962️1️42️.
Feel free to share this remarkable opportunity with any colleagues who may be
interested. Let us pave the way for improved mental health support for our invaluable
healthcare providers. Your participation can genuinely make a significant difference!
Thank you for your time and attention.
Yours sincerely,
Pamela Farrugia
