National Public Health Conference: 24-25th November 2023

The Malta Association of Public Health Medicinein collaboration with the Department of Public Health and the Department of Health Systems Management and Leadership of the University of Malta, as well as the Malta Health Network are excited to announce that abstract submission for the National Public Health Conference 2023: Improving Health and Well-being: An integrated societal approach is now open. Our health is determined by individual factors, healthcare accessibility and delivery as well as societal determinants outside of health. Abstracts looking into the various factors that impact our health and well-being based on the themes below will be accepted from professionals/students and practitioners from various health and non-health disciplines:
 
 
Social determinants of health, environmental concerns, and sustainability e.g., climate change, environment and health, and intersectoral collaboration.
Old and new health challenges e.g., communicable diseases and non-communicable diseases, mental health, COVID-19, and migrant health.
Reorienting and strengthening of health systems and services e.g., including a focus on the health and retention of the workforce, sustainability of universal health care, health promotion, and primary care.
Innovative approaches to population health e.g., digital health and communication, public health genomics. 
Public Health monitoring, surveillance, and evaluation
Public health leadership, politics, and Economics
