Do you have a first degree in a life science subject and wish to learn more about poisons and toxicology and their treatment?

The Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of Malta is offering a part time evening M.Sc. in Pharmacotoxicology as from October 2023. This part time evening Master’s degree in Pharmacotoxicology provides the related expertise and knowledge of toxicology, focussing drugs and medicines. It allows students to develop the abilities needed to apply this scientific information in specific areas of pharmacotoxicology, risk assessment and management in the context of best research evidence and clinical expertise, taking into account individual patient views and needs. This course is particularly relevant to clinicians, pharmacists, nurses as well as other health care professionals working in emergency or acute medicine and related disciplines; personnel working in poisons centres, drug information services, clinical toxicology hospital services and scientists working in the pharmaceutical or chemical industries, forensic labs and regulatory authorities.
