Profile of speakers

Dr Mark Anthony Vassallo

 is aconsultant geriatrician. He is the chairperson of the Geriatric Medicine Society of Malta and represents the society on the European Geriatric Medicine Society and secretary of the Geriatric Medicine Section of the European Union Medical Section. He also represents geriatrics on the Specialist Accreditation Committee in Malta

Dr Adrian Pace

is a consultant neurologist at Gozo General Hospital and Karen Grech Hospital. He treats patients with a broad spectrum of neurological disorders including mild cognitive impairment and various forms of dementia.

Prof Charles Scerri

is an Associate Professor of Dementia Studies at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Malta. He is the Chairperson of the Malta Dementia Society, Vice-Chair of Alzheimer Europe and National Focal Point on Dementia in Malta. Amongst his contributions is the national dementia strategy document Empowering change: A National Strategy for Dementia in the Maltese Islands (2015-2023).
