The National Obstetrics Information System (NOIS) Annual Report for 2021 has recently been uploaded onto our website. This Report presents data for all births and deliveries on the Maltese Islands – https://deputyprimeminister.gov.mt/en/dhir/Documents/Births/rpt_NOIS_2021%20Report_Annual_final.pdf

NOIS actively participates in EUROPERISTAT – a European network of birth registries working for perinatal health surveillance. This network publishes EU wide maternal and perinatal health reports every 5 years and has just released its latest report which may be viewed here. A short summary with a focus on Malta has also been prepared and uploaded on our website.
